With a week already passed since the North East Business Woman of the Year Awards 2018, we’re not sure where the time has gone!
Last Friday the Nuvo team attended this prestigious event along with some amazing and innovative women from across the North East. The purpose of the night was to celebrate all that women in the North East have achieved for themselves and for the region as impressive business owners.
The night was a truly special one with the theme of ‘Votes for Women’ with it being the centennial year since women got the vote in the UK! It rally is remarkable to see how far women have came in such a short space of history!
We’re really pleased to announce that in the night Bethany Ainsley and Nuvo Group won The Susan Dobson Award for Entrepreneurship and the North East Business Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2018.
The Award, sponsored by The Susan Dobson Memorial Fund, is to recognise a woman who, over the last 5 years or more, has achieved outstanding success in creating or growing a new or existing enterprise. The winner will have vision, enthusiasm, leadership and a stubborn refusal to be dissuaded from her chosen path!

Bethany told us “I am feeling incredibly honoured to have been presented with the ‘Susan Dobson Memorial Award’ at the North East Business Woman of the Year Awards last Friday evening.
