Our Calming Minds, primary school programme has been designed by our team along with fellow practitioner Natalie whose qualifications include; Diploma in ‘Mindulness for Children’, Diploma in ‘Laughter Therapy’ and Level 2 ‘Children’s Mental Health Awareness’.
Primary School Programme (Ages 7-11):
Children can develop emotionally by taking part in a range of dance, mindfulness and laughter yoga activities to develop resilience and social skills, as well as learn coping techniques to deal with stress and negative emotions, helping enhance the ability to excel in both school and exam conditions. This programme can be implemented in school or as an after school club.
Each weekly session is fun and engaging covering the following topics:
- Social Media
- Mental Wellbeing
- Physical Wellbeing
- Confidence Building
The programme is designed for all mainstream students as well as students with SEND, to raise awareness wellbeing and stigma around hot topics, as well as allow students to be able to take time out, relax and calm down when necessary.
